Yeah right, don't pop champagne bottles yet liberals - this has nothing to do with DeLay's fundraising activities - and everything with political vendetta by the rogue prosecutor from Texas; very similarly to Karl Rove and "Scooter" Libby in Valerie Plame case that might even involve VP Dick Cheney, and Bill Frist inquiry
- your cases are VERY THIN liberals; all I hear on liberal air waves is long sermon on the mountain about crackdown on "Bush crime family", but try explaining what have the latter done wrong without giving a three hour legal issues lecture - and you will got most of the normal people confused and frustrated over what are you accusing these people of - admit it lib behind all this charade of political intrigue and minor ethics violation in the backrooms of the White House YOU GOT NOTHING

You see legal issues are a little less tidy that shaking an 8 ball, and reading the clue on the bottom. More intelligent people require dialogue. I know this is more cumbersome than dunking a women in a river to find out if she was a witch or not. But it is what it is, judicial consideration.
Secondly gunt, I assume that you consider conservatives "normal" people, and as such they are very easily confused, and live in a constate of frustration (political and others.) so I do see your point here.
Also, you should consider Canada's liberal attitudes, and embrace them. Canada has cultivated and is appreciated for her values of fairness, and decentcy. Canadians can travel unharmed, and are welcomed in all countries. Sadly that can nolonger be said of Britains, or Americans.
Do yourself and your country a service, do not make Canada into the American equivalent of the German Anchluss. Your Country deserve more than that.
I think you will find that being liberal is much more rewarding, than the thin speak, and catchy one liners of the failing conservative movement here in the ailing US.
Now, one more observation. I do enjoy your blog, and am beginning to realise that it's title does fit what your are writing here. Mass Media Deception. Of course you can fool some of the people, some of the time.....
