Iran Threatens U.S. with "Harm and Pain"
VIENNA, Austria - Iran threatened the United States with "harm and pain" Wednesday for its role in hauling Tehran before the U.N. Security Council over its nuclear program. But the United States and its European allies said Iran's nuclear intransigence left the world no choice but to ask for Security Council action. The council could impose economic and political sanctions on Iran.

When we nuke? When we NUKE? NUKE?!! Are you SERIOUS? Do you actually understand what a nuclear war has the potential to do to the planet? Do you actually understand why the Cold War was such a tense era? Do you actually understand what happens in a nuclear strike? Do you actually understand how far spread the effects of nuclear fallout could be? Do you actually understand the concept of retailiation? As in someone who is allied with Iran nuking the States right back! As in Canada being hit with fallout! Are you completely insane?
what I understand is that Iran can't be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon because (as we have seen on the example of cartoon reaction) they will not hesitate to use it at first opprtunity - Cold War was about deterring already armed superpowers from anhialating each other - in today's world these same superpowers are united to prevent rogue states from getting these WMDs
Keeping in mind that India (a country with nukes) supports Iran's Nuclear Program and China (another country with nukes) is aligned with Iran. While the chance of Iran actually launching a nuclear attack is slim, there's no way of telling whether or not Iran's nuclear-possessing allies will for them. Just food for thought...
