Ukraine's Yushchenko shows tough defiance to corruption

These are the challenging times for democracy of many nations - one of the newest democracies - Ukraine - is facing a tough test as president Victor Yushchenko dismisses most of his cabinet as well as his prime minister Yulia Timoshenko, named Jean of Arce of Ukrainian Orange Revolution by media on the chrages of corruption typical of former Soviet appartchiks and business magnates which were present in the Ukrainian government previously ever since collapse of the Soviet Union, appointed by Kremlin through fraudulent elections - previous leaders disregarded nation's interest, while being puppets to de facto czar of Russia V.V. Putin - one is left to hope that this recent event by the democratically elected president will not in any way destabilize this new democracy but rather lead to the two party pluralism which is rather healthy for the country.
