Great leader, Slobodan Milosevic, dies today

Then Yugoslavia's President Slobodan Milosevic is shown in this 1997 photo, in Belgrade. Milosevic, the former Yugoslav and Serbian president who orchestrated the Balkan wars of the 1990s and was on trial for war crimes, was found dead in his prison cell at the U.N. detention center near The Hague, the U.N. tribunal said Saturday March 11, 2006.

Man wasn't a war criminal, and maintained his dignity and innocence until the end, all he wanted to do is protect Christian Serbs against murderous gangs of Islamic fundamentalists - same type we see beheading hostages and blowing up building today; maybe his methods got a bit out of hand because of his over-enthusiastic field commanders - but where was the help? Of course, moronic UN along with Clinton and his liberals fought on the wrong side in Yugoslavia, helping Islamic fundamentalists win, and shattering that country - great work ClinTOON moron.

RIP Slobo!

He sure as hell was a great leader! Anyone that can systematicly eradicate a group of people in such a way is, without a doubt, someone deserving of our respect and admiration.

You're not reallly smart, are you?
You're really just one of these strident neo-conmen who think if they say it louder than everyone else it makes them right.
You're one of these Republican stooges that takes all their cues from some twisted conservative yes-man, and just believe whatever is told you, because, after all, Why would Rush Limbaugh lie to you?
You're one of these one track mind lackies with drool on your shoe, perpetually regurgitating whatever cartchy slogen you hear, grasping futilely at some bid to sound informed.
I hate to shock you but here's an idea- disent against the government is healthy, it's good, and hell, it's american.
honestly, if the great american nation can't take a little disent and critisism from it own citizens then it really isn't as great as you think, right?
a truely stong government, a truely just government, is build from a community of ideas, from inteligent discourse.
Some of the greatest moments in american history come from individuals who looked at the government and said- "fuck, this ain't right." Thomas Jefferson, Fredric Douglas, Susan B Anthony, Theodore Roosevelt, Martin Luther King- they disented and, thank god, they were very american.
I would proudly follow in their footsteps and say-"some thing has got to change", so...
Down with the governement, Down with the Republican Spin machine, down with spying on our own citizens, down with new-age imperialism, down with corporate sponsored slavery, down with Geo. W. Bush and his satanica keepers, down with white-male dominated society, and down with all the pathetic panting little yes-men like you who want everyone to think the same.

You really should talk to some people that know about the situation. It's amazing how ignorant Americans are, and how arrogant they are. Ask somebody from Europe what sort of man he was.

You understand that Slobodan Milošević was a Communist, right? You understand that he followed a twisted version of the teachings of Marx, who was about as left-wing as it gets? And yes, I suppose that if you consider someone who was behind genocide a 'great leader', then he was that, yes... but of course, using your logic will also lead us to the conclusion that Hitler was a 'great leader', although that might be what you're getting at.

The worst part of this for me? You are Canadian. This means that you sat through a Canadian social studies course. I'm assuming you actually managed to pass, since your profile says you are a university student. This disappoints me... I actually thought that the Canadian youth was better than this.

By the way, when are you joining the military? I'm going to guess that since you are so gung-ho about eradicating those "dirty towel-heads" that you are planning to join the military and go on over there to help in the modern day crusades. Because surely, you aren't just another one of those gutless chickenhawks hiding behind a keyboard. Ha ha ha...

Oh... my God. Oh my God. Do you have any idea, any idea how many people that man had killed? "So his methods got a bit out of hand"?! You're not human! You're... you're an abomination! You're a living, breathing avatar of the case against democracy!

To see how demonized Milosevic was without mention of the KLA criminals and their atrocities being mentioned is outrage. These KLA gladly get on TV and smirk and gloat about the very slaughters with their "cold weapons" (i.e. knives, machetes) that prompted the offguard Serbs to respond. So how could such atrocities be overlooked? Milosevic's methods were nothing compared to these Islamic thugs whose very doctrine is beseigement and death to all infidels.
