Massive crackdown on Islamic terrorists in Afghan, Iraq begins

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq's prime minister set in motion the biggest security crackdown in Baghdad since the U.S.-led invasion, with 75,000 Iraqi and U.S. troops to deploy across the strife-prone capital starting Wednesday.
At the same time, coalition forces today launched a massive hunt for Islamic terrorists in Afghanistan codename operation Mountain Thrust.
Meanwhile, emphasizing the successes in Iraq a day after returning from a surprise visit there, President Bush said Wednesday that the United States will help Iraq succeed as it heads toward a stable democracy.

Another bad day for liberals and terrorists.
